Gear Up Summer Academy. Students will receive project-based learning in Math, Science, and Language Arts.
Open to Grades 7-12 Asbury Park Middle & High School Students.
Transportation will be provided to and from our partner schools. Free Breakfast & Lunch.

- Students will tour various college campuses
- Courses will be held at Brookdale’s main campus in Lincroft
- Multi-cultural & Educational Field Trip experiences
- Free bus pick up: 8:00 am Drop off: 3:00 pm

GEAR UP at Brookdale: Empowering Futures, Unlocking Potential - GEAR UP aims to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. This initiative aims to provide students in Asbury Park with the necessary resources, support, and guidance to prepare for and succeed in college.
Brookdale Community College
Brookdale Community College, located in Lincroft, New Jersey, is an excellent resource for residents of Monmouth County. The College offers (2-year) associate degrees and certificates, plus noncredit classes in many areas of personal and professional interest. Brookdale is an open-admission, comprehensive community college.
