The expansive new Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center is a critical component in Monmouth Medical Center’s bold outpatient expansion plan aimed at increasing access to critical health services and providing outstanding programs where our community needs it most.

Located adjacent to Boscov's department store at the Monmouth Mall, the center provides the region with convenient access to comprehensive women’s services, pediatric specialty services, wellness education and nutrition resources, specialty surgical services, a blood drawing station and an Urgent Care Center.

The 82,000-square-foot medical and wellness facility includes both medical and therapy services provided in partnership with Children's Specialized Hospital.

Comprehensive Children's Services

Children's healthcare services provided by the Combined Medical Group of RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Health include pediatric subspecialty practices in:

Pulmonology. Offering the most advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities to evaluate infants, children and adolescents with acute and chronic lung disorders.

Endocrinology. Specializing in the treatment of diabetes, thyroid conditions and other endocrine disorders in infants, children and adolescents and offering a pediatric obesity program that provides a blame-free, supportive environment to help obese children and their families adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Gastroenterology. Focusing on diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the stomach, intestinal tract, colon, liver and pancreas.

Cardiology. Providing diagnosis and management of a full spectrum of heart problems in infants, children and young adults.

Infectious diseases. Providing evaluation and therapy for children with a variety of infections including Lyme disease, recurrent fever/infection, immune-deficiency disorders and HIV.

Women's Health Services

Our award-winning women’s services are recognized among the safest obstetrical and gynecologic services in the nation.

Maternal/Fetal Medicine Program. Offers experts in the treatment of women who anticipate or are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy

Breastfeeding Program. Designed to help and support families in reaching their breastmilk feeding goals. The outpatient program offers consultations with certified lactation consultants are available by appointment to help mothers overcome challenges to breastfeeding. Additionally, the program offers private prenatal consults and information on how to order a breast pump through insurance on an outpatient basis as well as The Breastfeeding Today class and free weekly in-person and virtual support groups.

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders Center. MMC's pioneering program is the first center for perinatal mood and anxiety in New Jersey. It is designed to help women understand that they are not alone, they are not to blame and with help, they can get well.

Bariatric Surgery and Gastrointestinal Care

Bariatric Surgery Program. This program is certified by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Bariatric Center of Excellence.

GI Disorders Program. An innovative program offering a team of specialists to diagnose and treat conditions that affect the movement of the gastrointestinal tract.

Laboratory Services

The lab drawing station provides thousands of different diagnostic tests from a standard blood count or urinalysis to the new generation of more complex tests.

Urgent Care Center

In partnership with Family First of Oakhurst and Toms River, the Urgent Care Center is to provide prompt, convenient care of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

LiveWell Center and WEforum Demonstration Kitchen

The LiveWell Center and WEforum Demonstration Kitchen is a hub for all things health and wellness for community members of any age. Supporting all aspects of your health, including:

• Nutrition
• Chronic disease management
• Physical movement
• Mental health

The center’s state-of-the-art WEforum demonstration kitchen features the innovative Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi nutrition programming.

The center will also offer a variety of support groups and a smoking cessation program through the RWJBarnabas Health Institute for Prevention and Recovery.
