The Monmouth County Park System has tennis courts available for play on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 a.m. to dusk. Tennis courts are located in Dorbrook Recreation Area, Colts Neck; Holmdel Park, Holmdel; and Thompson Park, Lincroft. Tennis players should limit play to an hour, especially when there are others waiting to play. None of the courts may be reserved in advance and none of the courts have lights.

Dual Use Courts

Tennis courts at Dorbrook Recreation Area and Thompson Park have been striped for pickleball play. At the Dorbrook Recreation Area, five courts are lined for pickleball on the in-line skate rink. These courts are dedicated for pickleball play Sundays–Wednesdays on a first-come, first-served basis.  Thompson Park has two tennis courts lined for pickleball for play everyday on a first-come, first-served basis.

Indoor/Outdoor Courts

Fort Monmouth Recreation Area, Tinton Falls, has indoor and outdoor shared-use pickleball courts. The site hosts instructional programs and open play. Visit the Fort's online calendar for dates and times of open play. The Fort's outdoor courts are open seasonally (approximately April-October) and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
