Camps are filling up fast! Our popular camps and instructors are back this summer in two safe, spacious locations, both indoors and outdoors! Whether it’s performing, painting, sculpting, or dancing, MAC’s 23,000-square-foot facility, and additional MAC Annex Education Building have room for kids to flourish.

OUR LOCATIONS We offer two locations, just minutes apart from each other, featuring easy drive-thru drop-off and pick-up. Both have expansive outdoor spaces. MIDDLETOWN ARTS CENTER | 36 Church Street, Middletown, NJ 07748 MAC ANNEX EDUCATION BUILDING | Next to the Middletown Reformed Church | 121 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ 07748

Register by phone, in person, or online at www.middletownarts.org Please feel free to call us at 732.706.4110 OR email [email protected] should you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. You do not need to be a resident of Middletown to participate in our programs. Member and Non-Member rates relate to membership in the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council (MTCAC), the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that operates the MAC. Membership is optional and benefits include discounted rates on classes, camps, and workshops. Memberships are annual from the date of enrollment. Student membership is $25 for one full year.

SECURITY Both Locations keep all exterior doors locked except for the main entry doors. During camp hours, these doors will be manned so that any visitors are monitored. Adults (including parents) will not be allowed in the classroom spaces except for drop-off and pick-up. At that time, several staff members will be signing your child in and out. Children are always escorted to the bathrooms by our counselors and assistants. We have a “sign-out” procedure and a parent or designated adult must now sign out campers at pick-up. Children will not be released to anyone other than those designated. Any changes in the dismissal routine must be made in writing.

ATTIRE If your child is registered in the arts and crafts classes, please send them “dressed for mess”! If they are registered in the performing arts or dance classes, campers should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. Please no flip-flops or sandals. Both facilities are air-conditioned and can be chilly – you should send a sweater or sweatshirt. Please remember to check our Lost and Found boxes for misplaced items. We have quite a collection of clothes, lunch boxes, and assorted items at the end of the week!

SNACK AND LUNCH Children should bring a snack and, if they are staying for a full day, a non-perishable lunch in a box or bag clearly labeled with his or her name. We often have campers with SEVERE life-threatening food allergies that include but are not limited to, severe peanut and tree nut allergies. Please caution your child that snacks are not allowed to be shared. All children must wash their hands before and after snack time. If your child has an allergy or any other special needs, please be sure to discuss this with us prior to camp so we can make the necessary accommodations.

FULL–DAY OPTIONS! Morning camps can be mixed and matched with afternoon camps to make custom FULL–DAY experiences! Simply select the morning and afternoon camps you wish to combine, and we’ll take care of the rest! FULL–DAY campers bring their own lunch for a supervised half-hour lunch period. Please note: When combining camps for a FULL–DAY, please make sure both camps are at the same location. The MAC is not able to provide transportation between our locations.

PLEASE NOTE NEW CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY All camp changes and cancellations are subject to a $20 administrative fee per camp. Cancellations made prior to May 31st, 2023 will be issued a full credit minus $20 per camp. No refunds or credits will be issued for camps after May 31st, 2023. All camp credits will expire on September 2nd, 2023. Please feel free to call us should you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.
