Matt has worked in the mental health field for around 20 years helping individuals overcome challenges. Along with individual therapy, he also ran groups providing education and support on issues ranging from common life stressors to severe mental illnesses, and provided supervision as a director and clinical supervisor. Matt utilizes an eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and Gottman Method couples counseling. “I feel that along with teaching clinical interventions and providing education on mental health issues, the most important part of my work with you is coming together to focus on you becoming the best version of yourself.
