St. Vincent de Paul Ministry
St. Vincent de Paul is a national non-profit organization whose conferences are generally part of a religious community. St. Vincent de Paul Conference of Marlboro has been associated with St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church for more than 25 years and is funded entirely through the generosity of its parishioners.
Our mission is to faithfully serve the needy of our community by administering temporary emergency assistance while providing spiritual encouragement.
When we are contacted for assistance, all information shared with us is kept confidential. You will be assigned a case number and your identity is known only to the two members assigned to you. No information is shared with any individual, organization or outside agency without your permission. At the time of your home visit, we may request information such as copies of utility bills, employment status and current income and expenses in order to properly assess your needs. We may also recommend other organizations for you to contact that may be of assistance to you.
Our objectives are to listen to your concerns and concentrate our attention on your immediate problems, whether they involve food, clothing, rent or utility bills.
