The Regional Family Support Planning Councils (RFSPCs) bring together caregivers, self-advocates, and community partners to strengthen the voice of families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Councils work to improve services, share resources, and ensure families are heard at every level of planning and decision-making.
Families are invited to join their local council to connect with others, learn about available supports, and participate in meaningful advocacy that shapes the future of services in New Jersey.

Who Can Join
Parents, caregivers, self-advocates, and anyone supporting an individual with I/DD are welcome. There is no cost to participate.
Meetings & Participation
Councils meet regularly throughout the year. Families can attend as often as they wish and participate in discussions, planning, and advocacy projects.
