PROJECT HEAL: Youth Unleashing Real Power (YURP)
Project HEAL, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, is inviting teens ages 13–18 to join YURP – Youth Unleashing Real Power, a teen-driven initiative where young people lead the conversation, identify real challenges, and create meaningful solutions for their community.
This is a space where teens can speak up, be heard, and work alongside caring adults and peers to inspire change. Youth will build leadership skills, strengthen their voice, and help shape a healthier, more connected community.
Who Can Join
Teens ages 13-18 who want to make a difference, share ideas, and take on a leadership role in their community.
What Teens Will Do
- Identify issues impacting local youth
- Develop real solutions and action steps
- Collaborate with supportive adults and peers
- Build leadership, communication, and advocacy skills
- Create positive change in their community

Project HEAL
Project HEAL is a new program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center that helps people in Monmouth and Ocean Counties who have experienced violence in their lives. We are a caring, dedicated team made up of case managers, counselors, and medical staff to meet all of your needs.
