The Ocean Township Municipal Alliance provides alcoholism and drug abuse prevention programs in grades kindergarten through 12, supports outreach efforts for parents, and develops community awareness programs through youth related activities, alcoholism and drug addiction education, AIDS and fetal alcohol education, intergenerational recreation and volunteerism, media campaigns, and community-based celebrations. Programs and populations are subject to change each year.
Sharon Moleski, MA, LPC, LCADC, CCMHC, NCC, ACS, CCS — Community Services Director
Sharon Moleski is director of the Community Services Program and co-director of the Department of Human Services. She has extensive experience in counseling and treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. She supervises the department's counseling staff, directs the training of counseling interns and supervises outreach programs to seniors and youth.
The Community Services Office of the Department of Human Services provides counseling and crisis intervention services to individuals and families of the township.
There is no charge for most services for Ocean Township residents, as the office is supported by the people of the township and the Monmouth County Board of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Services.
All counseling is strictly confidential.

Our staff of professional counselors works closely with school personnel, police, courts, social service organizations and substance abuse agencies to offer an extensive network of services.
