You may be the parent of a child whose behavior has been affected by another child’s sexual behaviors, or you may have concerns about your child exhibiting troubling sexual behaviors. The behavior may involve other children in your home or the community. All of this can feel overwhelming. Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB) is sexualized behavior in children and adolescents that is developmentally inappropriate or potentially harmful to those impacted by the behavior.
As a parent, navigating sensitive and often taboo topics can be incredibly challenging and overwhelming, especially when you may not know where to turn for help. That’s why we are here. Our Specialized Care Coordination Team (SCC) provides you with information, resources, and support to help your children and family move toward a healthier and happier future.
We want to help you support your child and family through this difficult time. Please take a deep breath because we are here to help. If you have concerns about sexual behaviors in children, give us a call at 908-309-1107 or connect via email to [email protected].
