Mercy Center makes the community an empowered place, marked with dignity and respect, by offering comprehensive services that support the emotional, physical and financial well-being of the individuals we are privileged to serve. 

Emergency Services

Through Emergency Services, Mercy Center addresses crucial needs such as food insecurity, personal care items, clothing, and temporary assistance with household utility bills.  

* Individuals are referred to on-site programs or other community providers, based on specific needs, to obtain long-term stability.

Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center’s culturally specific, wrap-around services are free and many are also available in Spanish, Creole and Arabic. For more information contact the Family Resource Center’s Intake Coordinator at (732) 774-9397 x 122 or [email protected].

Youth Programs and Services

Offering programs that help build character and discipline creating a better life for youth.  We offer programs like supportive counseling for children, Youth with a Purpose, Youth Resiliency, and a Girls Circle Program.

Adult/Family Support Groups and Services

Keeping the family together is important to Mercy Center, and we believe that with the right help and determination, families can thrive. This is why Mercy Center offers individual and family counseling and various programs designed to preserve families.

Community Victim Advocacy Program

The Community Victim Advocacy Program provides advocacy, support services, linkages, and assistance to Domestic Violence and/or Sexual Violence victims and survivors (including impacted family members).

Sisters Academy of New Jersey

Sisters Academy of New Jersey is a girls’ middle school, for grades four (beginning in the Fall of 2022) through eight, located in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Academy focuses on educating girls from the surrounding communities in order to provide them with the tools necessary to gain access into and success in high schools and universities. In fact, 100% of our graduates have also graduated high school.
