What is Healthy Hop?
Healthy Hop is a free transportation service in Ocean and Monmouth Counties, provided by Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey, designed to help seniors aged 60 years and older get to their medical appointments without any stress or worry. We contract with Uber Health to safely transport you to your appointments. Rides are arranged and monitored for you by our dispatcher, ensuring an easy ride for you.
Guidelines
- MUST BE 60 OR OVER AND LIVE IN MONMOUTH & OCEAN COUNTY
- ONLY ONE ROUND TRIP PER WEEK
- WHEELCHAIRS CANNOT BE ACCOMMODATED
- ONE WEEK NOTICE NEEDED FOR RESERVATIONS
- MUST BE ABLE TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE CAR WITHOUT ASSISTANCE
- NO APPOINTMENTS ALLOWED WHERE ANESTHESIA IS NEEDED
- WITHIN 15 MILES OF YOUR HOME
- RIDES RUN FROM 9:00am TO 2:30pm

Fill out an application online on our website at cvcj.org/healthyhop.
Once you are registered you will receive a letter. Please save it, as it will contain all the information you need.
