Free Substance Use & Mental Health Treatment – Freehold Area Residents
The Freehold Area Health Department has partnered with High Focus Treatment Centers to offer no-cost treatment programs for uninsured or underinsured residents of Freehold Township and Freehold Borough. Services include mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorder care for both adolescents (ages 10–17) and adults, with partial care and intensive outpatient treatment available 3–5 days a week.

Services
Animal Control
In Freehold, animal control is responsible for picking up stray dogs and cats, responding to animal complaints and seeing that all dogs are licensed in the Township.
Nursing Services
The Freehold Area Health Department offers nursing services for all community members of Freehold Township, Freehold Borough, Manalapan Township, Tinton Falls Borough and Wall Township.
Communicable Disease Control
The Health Department is responsible for diagnosing and investigating public health problems.
Environmental & Public Health Nuisance Investigations
The Health Department responds to environmental and public health hazards that pose a threat to human health or safety.
Flu Clinics
Flu vaccines are offered to residents every fall.
Adult Immunizations
The Health Department provides a variety of vaccines to uninsured and under-insured adults. Call for availability.
