Family Promise hosts families with children for up to three months, with supportive services to achieve self-sufficiency. 

Families with children under the age of 18 may be admitted to the program for up to three months. Program includes case management combined with shelter, meals and transportation to/from work and school when possible. Adults are required to find full time sustainable employment, comply with all social service program guidelines and seek adequate, safe child care. Families required to save 80% of earnings while in the program, and comply with rigid program guidelines aimed at reducing future homelessness issues such as credit repair, budgeting and other life skills. Space limited to 14 persons, therefore all needs cannot be accomodated. Intake/interview process necessary before admittance to program, interviews granted if space is available at the time. Our new 2,000 sq. ft., centrally located Day Center was donated in 2008 by the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA). Nestled on 2 acres of land, Family Promise of Monmouth County will be able to expand our footprint and solidify our impact.
