Freehold
Casa Freehold is a 501c-3 non-profit organization founded in 2004 in response to the needs of a growing immigrant population. Our mission is to help new arrivals to integrate themselves into the community. We assist individuals and families to empower themselves by offering information and resources in areas of immigration, housing, health, employment, and education.
Employment
We work to connect workers and employers in an environment of fair pay and safe working conditions.
Health
We educate the community about health resources.
Language
Immigrants learn the importance of English for success in their new country. ESL classes are available.
Legal
We assist our members to empower themselves to solve a variety of legal problems (i.e., landlord/tenant, small claims, traffic court, work accidents, etc.)
Immigration
We offer ongoing education and referral to available resources.
Wage Theft Claims
We work with our members to obtain wages not paid.
Food Distribution
Every Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 pm. To receive food items, come to the back door where the tables are set up. Ask the volunteers to give you a number. When they are ready for you, they will announce your number, and you can come and pick up the food you need.
Casa is affiliated with: National Day Laborers Organizing Network, NJ, New Jersey Immigration Policy Network, Latino Coalition of New Jersey, Monmouth County Coalition for Immigrant Rights.
