Displaced Homemakers Services at Brookdale Community College offers women and men no cost, confidential, holistic, customized help to enable you to reach your full potential.

Our services include:

  • Comprehensive Intake
  • Personal coaching and emotional support
  • Career Exploration and Development
  • Job Skills Workshops
  • Computer Training (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Workshops to support self-sufficiency
  • Optional Support Group
  • Access to Community resources and referrals
  • Training Scholarships

The mission of Displaced Homemakers Services at Brookdale Community College is to assist individuals achieve their goals of emotional and financial self-sufficiency. We help people become empowered to make their own decisions, and upgrade and/or obtain skills to support themselves and their families.

Displaced Homemakers Services at Brookdale Community College provides this no cost service through funding from the New Jersey Department of Children and Family Services Division on Women.
