Asbury Park Theater Company is committed to nurturing theater artists of all kinds. We thrive on creativity, We know that there are so many theater-makers that live in and around Asbury Park who don't have the resources to develop their own work. We are here to help. If you are a new or established playwright, composer, lyricist or someone who simply thinks, "I should write a play about my life.", our "New Works Incubator" is for you. The New Works Incubator reviews new works, arranges table reads with awesome actors, provides critques (and much, more) to help bring your work from the page to the stage.

APTCO'S SCHOOL OF DRAMATIC ARTS

In an effort to share our love of the theater arts with our community, APTCo has developed a School of Performing Arts (SODA) to help both adults and young people develop their abilities as performing artists. Numerous studies have shown that self-expression through the arts is beneficial to a child's growth and mental health. Our very-talented instructors will be offering classes in theater, voice and movement. Our instructors and teaching artists have many years of professional theater and dance training and have performed regionally in Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
