The mission of the Asbury Park Department of Social Services is to promote the health and well-being of the citizens of Asbury Park.

City of Asbury Park Social Services offers customized special services tailored to support the needs of those with behavioral health issues. Social Services staff can coordinate with organizations and community service providers for client assistance, help conduct informal evaluations of the needs of an individual and their dependents, and help clients seek and obtain financial resources from other agencies.
