Arc of Monmouth WRAP - Work Readiness Achievement Program

The Arc of Monmouth’s WRAP (Work Readiness Achievement Program) is a dynamic, person-centered initiative designed to support young adults (ages 18–21) with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they transition from school to the workforce. WRAP offers:

Job Readiness Training
Resume building, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, and soft skills development.

Career Exploration
Exposure to diverse industries through site visits, guest speakers, and vocational assessments.

Hands-On Experience
Volunteer placements and internships tailored to each participant’s interests and strengths.

Life Skills Coaching
Budgeting, time management, transportation training, and self-advocacy.

Family & School Collaboration
Coordinated support with IEP teams, transition counselors, and caregivers.

WRAP fosters confidence, independence, and community connection—helping each participant take meaningful steps toward employment and adulthood.

Program Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Year-round programming with seasonal enrollment periods

Referral Process
Interested families or professionals can contact the WRAP Coordinator directly to schedule an intake meeting. Referrals may also be made through school districts or support coordinators.
