The New Jersey Department of State has announced a new HUD funding opportunity to strengthen services for homeless youth. The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program supports Continuums of Care and partner agencies in developing coordinated, community?based approaches that ensure continuity of care and long?term stability for young people experiencing homelessness.

Issued July 20,2026, by the Office of Programs and Volunteerism, this notice invites eligible providers to apply for federal support aimed at expanding outreach, housing, and supportive services across New Jersey.

Interested agencies should submit an LOI to the State by Friday, July 24th.
