Through a Service Provider's Eyes: What Fathers Truly Need

This Father’s Day week, families, providers, and community partners are invited to join two conversations focused on elevating fathers’ voices and understanding what dads in New Jersey truly need to feel supported and included.

The sessions take place on Tuesday, June 16 and Wednesday, June 17 and highlight the experiences of fathers, the barriers they face, and the ways systems can better recognize and uplift their role in their children’s lives.

The event also features insights from Michael Cupeles, a father of four and Male Initiative Coordinator with Gateway Community Action Program, who shares how systems can better support dads and strengthen family connections. These conversations are open to anyone interested in learning more about father engagement and supporting families across New Jersey.
