Brain Builders (Exceptional Wellness Counseling)
Begins July 8, 2026
8-10 week program
Ages 8–11
Wednesdays at 2:00 PM
Brain Builders is an engaging executive functioning skills group for children ages 8–11 who may struggle with organization, planning, focus, emotional regulation, flexibility, task initiation, or staying on track. Led by Rebecca Sgro, MS, LPC, CCTP, ADHD-CCSP, an ADHD-Certified Clinical Specialist, this small-group program helps children build practical skills through fun, interactive activities, games, and hands-on learning.
Participants will explore key executive functioning skills, including working memory, organization, planning, self-monitoring, emotional control, inhibition, flexibility, and task initiation. Children will learn strategies they can apply at home, in school, and in everyday life while building confidence, problem-solving abilities, and social connections with peers.
The group is open to children with ADHD as well as those who experience executive functioning challenges related to school, daily routines, or emotional regulation.
