Traumatic events (death, grave or unexpected illness or injury, fire, flood, traumatic victimization, etc.) are rare and random. However, shall a traumatic event occur, the Traumatic Loss Coalition (TLC) for Monmouth County (a network of professionals representing schools, social agencies, police, clergy, crisis services, etc.) can support and guide your staff through critical events and postvention based on successful experience resolving similar circumstances.

his is the Monmouth County Psychiatric Screening Service.
24 Hours a day, seven days a week, professional staff are available for phone consultation and, where indicated, in-person services to bring stability and direction to traumatic events.

This is the Monmouth County Division of Mental Health. Traumatic loss consultation services can be initiated here during normal business hours. Services include intervention in traumatic losses, professional education through seminars, inservice education programs for professionals and community groups, and bibliographic materials.
