Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Asbury Park Community That Cares (CTC) is offering a free, full?day Youth Mental Health First Aid training designed for parents, caregivers, educators, and community members who support young people. This nationally recognized program teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among youth ages 12–18 .
The training covers the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE), including assessing for risk of suicide or harm, listening nonjudgmentally, giving reassurance and information, encouraging appropriate professional help, and promoting self?help and support strategies .
Lunch will be provided, and all materials are included. This is an in?person, full?day training.
Cost: Free.
