Wellness Initiative for Senior Education (WISE): An Enhanced Quality of Life

An Enhanced Quality of Life will focus on awareness of our personal values and how they influence the way we think and act.

About the presenter: In 2020, Family & Children’s Service (FCS) launched a new program OARS (Outreach, Awareness and Resources for Seniors) which focuses on the issues and challenges that are unique to aging, such as mental health, drug interactions, misuse of prescription and over-the-counter medications, risk factors, substance-abuse prevention and social isolation/loneliness. Through the OARS program, FCS utilizes an evidence-based curriculum developed by the New Jersey Prevention Network (NJPN) called Wellness Initiative for Senior Education (WISE).

This event will be conducted on Zoom and is free of charge. Registration and internet access are required to attend.  Zoom access link will be emailed prior the presentation.
