Voyagers' Community School: Extended School Year

Summer Enrichment At Voyagers: Where Education Meets Imagination

Our Summer Enrichment Program reimagines the summer learning experience for children in grades K – 8. It’s an academically inspired, pressure-free zone where the spirit of summer camp meets the thrill of discovery. Here, every day is an opportunity for students to explore their passions, express themselves, and enjoy the magic of summer—all within a structured, safe, and supportive environment.

Join us this summer at Voyagers’ Community School, where we turn the summer break into a season of growth, connection, and unforgettable adventures.

Who’s It For

Voyagers’ Community School’s Extended School Year Program is designed for all elementary and middle school children who will benefit from continued academic and social-emotional learning. Our program is engaging, challenging, and thoughtfully created to spark interest and make learning fun.

Students with learning or mild behavioral difficulties benefit from an extension of their school-year programming. We help students avoid “summer slide”. Our summer students return to school in the fall with confidence and strengthened academic and social-behavioral skills.

How It Works

Summer is not just a break; it’s an extension of our commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. Our Summer Program is thoughtfully designed to prevent “Summer Slide” by engaging students in meaningful academic pursuits and social experiences.

For up to seven weeks, students in our Extended School Year (ESY) program have the freedom to delve into projects of their choosing, each inspired by weekly themes. This approach nurtures autonomy and promotes a deep, personal connection to learning.

Students receive academic instruction based on core curriculum standards and individual needs in Math, Science, Language Arts, and STEAM. Direct instruction in hands-on skills workshops, focus on themes that expand from the classroom to the garden, sports fields, kitchen, STEAM Lab, library, and music and art studios.
