The 51st Annual Monmouth County Fair returns with rides, food, live entertainment, 4-H shows, agricultural exhibits, Touch-a-Truck, a petting farm, and hands?on activities for all ages. Opening night features the MonmouthNJ 250 Celebration with costumed historic interpreters and fireworks, weather permitting. Entertainment includes WonderZone Dinosaur Zoo, DAWG Pro Wrestling, Andrew’s Big Show, Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, John Higby the Yo-Yo Guy, Tommie Turvey’s stunt horses and dogs, plus live music throughout the week. Ride wristbands are available daily. The Home and Garden Competition showcases crafts, art, photography, vegetables, flowers, baked goods, and native plant arranging. Admission is $10 per adult; children 12 and under are free. Discounts apply during the first two hours each day, and veterans, active military, seniors, and students receive additional free admission options.

Monmouth County 4-H
4-H Youth Development Program of New Jersey. In 4-H, youth in grades K-13 (one year out of high school) are involved in various club activities ranging in topics from animals to healthy living to leadership to science, technology, and engineering.
