Garden State Equality and the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender’s Expungement Unit are hosting a free Expungement Clinic on Wednesday, July 22, from 10 am to 2 pm at Garden State Equality Headquarters, 308 Main St, Asbury Park, NJ 07712.
Community members can meet with legal professionals to review eligibility, receive filing assistance, and learn how expungement can remove certain criminal convictions from public records. Once a record is expunged, it is no longer visible to employers, landlords, or schools, offering a meaningful opportunity to move forward with a clean slate.
