Beyond the Connection is a free virtual workshop series designed for anyone in Monmouth County who wants to make a positive impact in their community, even without a clinical background. Whether you’re a teacher, hairstylist, bartender, coach, or simply someone others tend to open up to, this program helps you build confidence in supporting people who may be struggling emotionally .
This year’s series is fully virtual, making it accessible to participants across the county. The program is offered by the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County in partnership with 180 Turning Lives Around and the Count Basie Center for the Arts, and is funded through the Monmouth County Division of Behavioral Health as part of an Adult Suicide Prevention initiative.
