Veterans Mental Health Resources - Veteran Training Site
VA courses are free, available 24/7, and 100% confidential.
Although the courses here may help you with difficulties, they are not intended to replace treatment by a healthcare professional. For more information or how to schedule an appointment, visit https://www.va.gov/health/appointments.asp
To help Veterans and their families deal with challenges associated with their service, transition to civilian life or other stressors, VA developed the Veteran Training site. It features tips and stories from Veterans who have been through the same experiences as their peers.
We offer Veterans training and self-help resources covering a wide variety of support such as:
- Overcoming sleep issues
- Learning problem-solving skills
- Managing anger
- Strengthening parenting skills
There are also additional resources, including self-assessments, available to help you identify if your feelings or behaviors are related to a treatable mental health condition.
These resources are free and accessible online — anywhere — for use at your own pace and on your own schedule.
The Veterans Crisis Line offers 24/7 free and confidential support to Veterans and their loved ones.
