At Top Care Support, we provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, this is inclusive of support for learners with ASD, behavioral, medical and mental health needs. We individualize services specific to the learners and are able to assist with an array of ambitions.

Regarding in-home support, we work with the learner to maintain supervision and safety while in home. We also identify the activities of daily living where a learner may benefit, offering growth and development. We work to build independence in these skill areas. This will look different for every learner, but we assist and grow ADL (activities of daily living) skills, including but not limited to: toileting, showering, handwashing, learning to complete small house chores, learning to create small healthy meals, navigating the environment safely, building leisure skills, etc.

Again, we are able to identify the learners' functioning level and put support in to meet them where they are at while setting goals for growth. 

We are also very committed to community integration, we assist individuals with navigating their communities and building relationships with their surrounding community. Inclusion practices are very important to us, as access to your community and socialization can add value and provide a sense of belonging.

Again, this will look different depending on the learner, but for some of our folks it's as simple as getting out for community walks, visiting the local places and attending social events. We also expand those services with volunteer opportunities, joining local clubs, attending community events, taking classes, etc. 

We provide behavioral support through our contracted providers, this team consists of BCBA's and behavioral specialists that complete behavioral assessment, monitoring, plan development, staff and parent training. Alongside our behavior team we are able to identify behavioral challenges and put functional plans and strategies in place to develop skills and replace, decrease behaviors. All of our staff are trained in crisis management and positive behavioral support. 

With the support and plans we put in place we are able to address clinical needs; behavioral and medical, activities of daily living, and community integration.
