Radical Acceptance: A DBT-Informed Skills Group

Radical Acceptance: A DBT-Informed Skills Group is a weekly therapeutic support group that involves psychoeducation, skill building, and emotional processing. This ongoing cycle of Radical Acceptance is being held on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
Each week focuses on one of the four DBT modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Participants will have the opportunity to process their experiences, ask questions and receive support to cultivate mindful self-acceptance while navigating the waters of change.
Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is a treatment modality that emphasizes self-acceptance while also acknowledging the necessity for change. It aims to improve present-moment awareness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Those who practice these skills have an opportunity to live a more balanced and equanimous life.
All participants are encouraged to complete 8 weeks at minimum.
To preserve the intimate group experience, new participants are invited to join during the start of a new module only.
