- Benefits Counseling for individuals on Social Security
- Job Placement and Supported employment services
- Education and training for eligible individuals
DVRS Referral Process:
Individuals with physical, mental, cognitive, and/or other disability(ies) that results in a substantial impediment to employment may be eligible for vocational rehabilitation services through the DVRS. Referrals to DVRS are received from various entities including community agencies, school districts, correctional facilities, medical professionals, etc. Individuals can apply for DVRS services on their own or be referred by a family member/guardian or other interested party or professional. Eligibility | Any individual with a physical, mental, cognitive, or other form of disability who has a substantial impediment to employment may qualify for services through the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS). Disabilities can be from birth or acquired later in life due to accident or onset of diagnosis. |
