Sheila Matut and Geri Cohen have been surfing for 8 years and are inspired by what the surf culture has to offer.

While being immersed in their upbringing in Deal New Jersey, their older brothers prompted their passion for surfing.

They spend a lot of their time year round in the water, and want to share the passion surfing gave them with their campers.

Geri and Sheila are both Red Cross-certified lifeguards and ensure their campers will be completely taken care of in and out of the water.

To Bring To Camp Everyday:

- Wetsuit
- Bathing suit
- Water
- Snacks
- Lunch

We recommend our Full Summer campers purchasing a 3/2mm full wetsuit for colder days, especially for the month of July. Online at wetsuitwarehouse.com has a great selection as well as in stores at Spellbinders Surf Shop in Allenhurst, NJ and Brave New World in Little Silver (and Pt. Pleasant) NJ.

SURF BOARDS

Surf boards are included with camp payment.
Each Full Summer Camper will receive their very own new soft top surf board upon arrival at camp. This surf board is theirs to keep at the end of the summer.

This does not apply to weekly and daily campers. Surf boards will be available for use but must be returned by the end of each camp day in the condition they were taken in. If the surfboard is damaged or destroyed, the camper will be required to pay for the damaged board.

WAIVERS

Please download and print this waiver at home. Fill it out and email a scanned copy of it to [email protected]

Each camper MUST submit a filled-out waiver prior to or upon arrival at camp. If they do not they will not be admitted to Jersey Surf Camp.

PAYMENT

Payments for Full Summer campers must be paid in full upon signup or no later than June 1st.
Payments for Weekly Campers must be made in full by the Friday prior to the week they attend.
Payments for Daily Campers must be paid prior to or upon arrival.

TRANSPORTATION

We provide daily transportation for Full Summer Campers. They will be picked up at 9:40-9:50am and dropped home at 3:45-4pm everyday by one of our staff members.
Weekly and Daily campers will not have transportation provided.
