FRA Adult Program - Supporting Lifelong Growth, Independence, and Inclusion

FRA’s Adult Program, offered at both our Red Bank and Brick locations, is designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are seeking continued opportunities to grow, connect, and live fulfilling, independent lives. We provide a dynamic mix of educational classes, hands-on activities, community experiences, and therapeutic services in a supportive, inclusive environment. Our adult classes focus on building real-life skills that promote independence, confidence, and personal development. Participants engage in activities such as: Cooking and nutrition, Money management and budgeting, Technology and digital literacy, Social and communication skills, Creative arts and music, Health and wellness, Fitness and movement with our Dance and Karate with Jay, Community-based instruction and recreational outings, Each class is designed to be interactive and fun while also reinforcing important life skills and fostering peer relationships.

In addition to educational classes, FRA offers a range of therapeutic services to support each individual’s unique physical, emotional, and developmental needs. These include: Occupational Therapy (OT) – to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living activities, and adaptive skills, Physical Therapy (PT) – to support mobility, strength, balance, and coordination, Speech-Language Therapy – to enhance communication, articulation, and social language, Behavioral supports and counseling – available based on individual needs. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with families and support coordinators to develop personalized service plans that reflect each individual’s goals, interests, and abilities. FRA’s Adult Program celebrates abilities, encourages growth, and builds strong connections to the community—empowering adults to lead more independent and meaningful lives.
