ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Children’s mental health matters, and promoting a child’s mental health means helping them feel secure, relate well with others, and foster their growth at home and school. Our Family Crisis Intervention Unit stabilizes youth (10-17) in crisis and encourages positive development through connections to community resources, interpersonal relationships, and academic success.
The program is available 24/7 and may be provided in the family’s home. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Crisis intervention
- Stabilization
- Short-term family treatment
Our licensed clinicians assess behaviors and prevent involvement with the juvenile justice system. When all resources have been exhausted and the child’s difficult behavior persists, the Family Crisis Intervention Unit may request court involvement.
