EZ Ryde4Life @ Asbury Park Essential Ride Program

Rideshare with EZ-Ride4Life @ Asbury Park

EZ Ryde4Life @ Asbury Park is a new transportation program designed to build a culture of health by subsidizing the cost of transportation for essential trips for senior and income-eligible residents. The rides are provided by EZ Ride, a nonprofit corporation, from 8am to 8pm Monday-Friday, and 8am to 5pm on Saturday, in partnership with Lyft and Uber.

Program participants including residents aged 65 and over, and those that meet income eligibility, requirements may request essential trips such as grocery/food shopping, bank visits, medical services, etc., to destinations in neighboring municipalities.

Through this program, Asbury Park will provide program participants with the initial registration fee and the first $15 for each trip (up to 6 trips per month) taken using the EZ Ryde4Life program while funds are available. All additional expenses beyond the first $15 must be paid for by the rider. Further, any trips over the maximum of six (6) permitted each month will also be entirely at the cost of the rider.

Applications available below, can be dropped off at reception in city hall (One Municipal Plaza) or emailed to the Parking Office with the subject "EZ-Ryde4Life @ Asbury Park" by clicking here.
