Meets
2nd and 4th Thursdays @ 7:00

We are excited to announce that the Eatontown Lions Club will be participating in a 4 week fundraising challenge with A Community Thrives to raise funds for the Challenger Playground project! A Community Thrives is a program that supports community improvement ideas with grants up to $100K. We’ll have four opportunities to win bonus challenges with weekly prizes up to $5000…our main focus will be on weeks 1 and 4…stay tuned!

The Lions believe that children with a developmental or other disability should have the same opportunity to enjoy safe and healthy playground experiences as those without a disability. The Challenger Playground will be installed in a 4,500 square foot area of Leon Smock 80 Acre Park in Eatontown centrally located to support children of six municipalities with a population of over 74,000.

At an estimated cost of $250,000, the playground will have twenty-one play activities that meet or exceed playground safety standards and conform to ADA Accessibility Guidelines. This project cannot be done without your help and support. The Fundraising Challenge through #ACommunityThrives begins July 19th and runs through August 13th.

Please consider supporting this cause by visiting our website and donating during the 4-week challenge period: https://acommunitythrives.mightycause.com/…/Challengerp…
