OUR MISSION
We welcome and support the development of a lifelong interest in the pursuit of knowledge through reading and learning.
We serve as a primary lending library and community center promoting library use by all, facilitated by our collaborative association of branch and member libraries.
We aim to help our patrons meet their educational, recreational, and cultural needs through our extensive collections, professional services, information resources, and innovative programming.
We are committed to providing automated access to a vast network of electronic content resources.
We strive to be a place to dream, a place to learn, a place to mingle, and a place to realize one’s potential.
A library is many things to many people. It serves as a community center, where people can come together to hold meetings, hear lectures, or share book club interests. It is a place for enjoying a new book, studying or embarking on research. It is your link to the Internet. A library can be the first place a young child experiences the joy and excitement of reading!
