Aslan Summer Day Camp
We pack so much fun and learning into our summer day camps. Two days a week are dedicated to field trips to the beach or at programs provided through the Monmouth County Park System (rock climbing, inline skating). The other three days children participate in arts & crafts, sports, and classes in music, science, computers, and other enrichment activities. Local churches provide a nutritious lunch for each child

Aslan Youth Ministries is a non-profit organization serving urban youth and their families. Aslan is headquartered in Red Bank, New Jersey (USA), and reaches out to impoverished communities in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In 1996, Aslan established an outreach in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, West Indies where we serve some of the poorest of poor.  We have a medical clinic and are currently at work building a church and school. We partner with another FBO to provide a food distribution program.

 Locally, we serve over 100  children weekly through non-denominational Christian education classes in three locations: Asbury Park, Long Branch, and Red Bank. We also provide one-on-one tutoring/mentoring, life skills classes, and numerous recreational and cultural activities. Come summer,  Aslan offers day camps and other enrichment activities for those youth enrolled in our weekly Christian education/character development classes. Often, those children bring along cousins and others who may be visiting them. Any child who wishes to attend and lives locally is welcome.

Parents may enroll their child(ren) in our Right Choices Character Development classes at any time during the school year.  Transportation is provided.  Please contact Janis Marler for further details.
