Barn for the Poorest of the Poor is a charity in Middletown, New Jersey. The Barn is now regularly serving almost 40 different organizations dedicated to assisting the less fortunate among us.
Our Summer Riding Program runs from June to August, selected days from 9:00am to 3:00pm and we offer before care and after care for our working parents. We have been conducting our riding program since 1970. Our riding program is for children from the age of 7 to 16, for the first-time beginner to the competitive equestrian.
Helping with the kids? From providing occasional babysitting to raising them as your own, more and more grandparents are actively involved in the day-to-day life of their grandchildren. Join us at our grandparents group to learn and share valuable information.
The Bayshore Lunch Program provides a meal for all those in need of food and fellowship in the Bayshore area. We currently operate three days a week but we are hoping to expand to five days a week in the future. There’s no better place to go for lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care with Behavioral Health is a traditional Urgent Care treating minor illnesses such as fevers and flu, upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, but now offers expanded services to treat short term outpatient mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral issues in adults.
Youth camp. Our camp welcomes all children ages 5-16 at any skill level. Children will spend the entire day with their horse learning valuable responsibilities such as caring for their horse, horsemanship knowledge, two daily riding lessons, and so much more.
