Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The Self-Help Sourcebook Online is a keyword-searchable database of over 1,100 national, international, model and online self-help support groups for addictions, bereavement, health, mental health, disabilities, abuse, parenting, caregiver concerns and many other stressful life situations. Also lists local self-help clearinghouses worldwide, research studies, information on starting face-to-face and online groups, and a registry for persons interested in starting national or international self-help groups.

Groups begin the week of August 27th for adolescents ages 13-17 years; Tuesdays at 6pm and Wednesdays at 5pm.  Participants will be divided into two groups based on age, and will meet once weekly for eight weeks at IEP Youth Services, Inc., Freehold.

Provides an environment where the participants can identify issues related to their inability to control their anger. Participants learn more appropriate behaviors and how to utilize effective coping techniques. Enrollment required.

The Cancer Support Community provides warmth and acceptance in a safe, comfortable environment. a place of hope where you can learn how to live fully with a cancer diagnosis. We are open to people with cancer, their family members, caregivers, and friends. All of our programs are free of charge.

You are not alone!  Sign up for our parenting group that will teach you new skills to change your child's behavior.  Groups are held at CPC Behavioral Healthcare's Helen Herrmann Counseling Center.

180 Turning Lives Around Rape Care Program is now offering a 10-week education, therapeutic intervention and support group for sexual assault and incest survivors.

Support and mentoring for women needing positive change in their circumstances.

Social Skills Saturday Prorams are offered throughout the school year (not during the summer months).  Nine week sessions begin in October, January, and March.  Location:  Camp Excel Monmouth County, Spring Lake Heights); ages 5-17.  Activities include: group discussion, social skills activity, interactive games, sports, art, specials (cookie, nature, music), special events, and trips.

For any child (ages 5-18 years old) in need of social skill building and children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities or Asperger's Syndrome.  Groups are held at Monmouth Therapy Associates, (Sheila Franklin Gilstein, MA, LPC),  in Tinton Falls.

DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) Group - Support and Skill Building for the Strong Spirited 16 week out patient skill group Long Branch Community Center.

Individual, group, family counseling, substance abuse, conflict resolution, preventive and reproductive health care services, recreation events, job coaching and employment counseling.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior mod, and therapeutic play for children ages 3-6 experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.
