Become an Environmental Center Docent! Join us for a tour of the facility, its operations, and an overview of the volunteer docent positions. Training available to volunteers that sign up at the Open House.

Become a Trails Team Member and help maintain over 130 miles of trails in the Monmouth County Park System. Team meets on scheduled Saturday mornings at various park locations. 2017 "In My Skin" LGBTQ Summer Program for Teens

"In My Skin" programming includes creative therapies such as art, music, and yoga therapy, the development of a personal identity story throughout treatment, and guest speakers from the LGBTQIA community. Beginning June 26, the GenPsych Adolescent Program (GAP) will be running its second annual ‘In My Skin’ Summer Program. This program, which aims to address the unique issues of LGBTQ and adolescent identity, will be offered in addition to GAP’s regular teen and youth program tracks.

Behavioral and Health Care Professionals: Recent events, ranging from the mass shooting at the Orlando nightclub to the vehicle ramming attacks in Paris, Berlin, London, Stockholm and Ohio State University, underscore that the threat of violence is ever changing. Behavioral Crisis Response Services for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

This presentation will overview NJ's unique behavioral crisis response services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, now known as CARES (Crisis Assessment Response and Enhanced Services) and formerly known as SCCAT. The speaker will talk about available resources within the mental health system to all persons with disabilities who are in crisis regardless of age and help family's identify the resources needed to manage behavioral crises in place including when it is necessary to seek mental health acute care services.

The Monmouth County Health Department [MCHD] is offering two free or low-cost cancer screenings this summer, available for uninsured women living in Monmouth County.  The pap clinic is on Friday, July 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Clinics are at 3425 Highway 9, in Freehold NJ.
