Optimal Behavioral Health (Families Matter)

Families Matter, LLC opened its doors in November of 2003 in order to provide In-Home Behavioral Health Services to children and families within Southern New Jersey. Licensed clinical staff and certified behavioral assistants provide community-based counseling and behavioral support utilizing the wraparound model of community behavioral healthcare.

In March of 2008, Families Matter, LLC expanded to include a Behavioral Health Office located in Villas, New Jersey. In an accessible bayside setting, the agency provides a wide variety of behavioral health services including mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring group and individual counseling services. Psychiatric assessment and medication treatment services are offered as well as comprehensive psychological evaluations. All adult, child, and family services are offered in English and Spanish and are provided by licensed clinical and medical professionals. Families Matter is licensed by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and works collaboratively with the New Jersey Superior Court, the New Jersey Drug Court, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, and the Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) to provide quality behavioral healthcare services to those with a variety of personal, relational, and familial issues.
