At Brainstorm, our Specialized Academic Coaching program is designed for students of all ages who have a learning disability (IEP or 504 plan) and require a tutor who is not only an experienced educator but who also has a degree and training in fields such as special education, mental health counseling, and clinical social work.

Coaches are matched with students based on the student’s needs and the coach's area of training (i.e. executive functioning, social skills building, assistive technology, CBT to name a few).

Our specialized academic coaches craft individualized curriculums based on the student’s diagnosis and learning needs and work alongside the family and school to provide the highest level of service. 

Families can choose to receive tutoring services either at the tutoring center in Franklin Lakes, NJ, at another decided public location, or best of all, in the student’s home! Above all, we want to empower students with learning disabilities and help them master subjects with the same confidence as students without a learning disability.
