Autism in Black

Autism in Black aims to provide support to Black parents who have an autistic child, through educational and advocacy services. Autism in Black is dedicated to bringing awareness to Autism and reducing the stigma in the black community.

Maria Davis-Pierre, LMHC is a parent and couples coach who can come speak to your organization about the Black side of Autism from a  parenting perspective, effective parenting strategies for Black parents with a autistic child, and also for trainings for  professionals on how to work with Black families from a cultural perspective. Maria is available to do Q&A forums, small discussions, and workshops that fit the needs of your community.

The Autism in Black Podcast focuses on all things Autism and the Black Parent experience.
