Aslan Youth Summer Day Camp
We pack so much fun and learning into our summer day camps. Two days a week are dedicated to field trips to the beach or at programs provided through the Monmouth County Park System (rock climbing, inline skating). The other three days children participate in arts & crafts, sports, and classes in music, science, computers, and other enrichment activities. Local churches provide a nutritious lunch for each child!
Registration Dates: Children already belonging to Aslan are automatically registered because they are part of our after-school program. Other children may register at any time before each camp begins by calling our office. There is no set registration date.
Location: We have 3-day camps, each running for 2 weeks in donated church space in 3 different towns: Neptune, Long Branch, and Red Bank, NJ
All our programs are open for children aged 5-12 to register, thereby becoming a permanent part of Aslan. They may remain in Aslan all through their teen years. The day camps generally run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Three days per week all activities take place at the church facilities at each camp. Those activities are recreational, educational or otherwise culturally enriching. Two days per week we go on recreational or educational field trips in our local area.
Scholarship Availability: YES
Transportation Available: We provide door-to-door transportation to and from all activities every day in our bus or 2 vans.
Registration: Our registration form must be filled out and signed by the parent before a child may participate. We supply that to the parents upon meeting them.
