DHS has created an online system to register, report and request additional shipments of free naloxone.

Containing and combatting our state’s opioid overdose epidemic is of the utmost importance to Governor Murphy and his administration. We are proud to once again be partnering with community provider agencies across our state to provide lifesaving naloxone and help the people of New Jersey.

Beginning this year, we are excited to announce a new partnership that will allow for the delivery of naloxone kits directly to our state’s community organizations offering prevention, treatment, and recovery services. DHS has created an online system to register, report and request additional shipments of free naloxone. To order naloxone for your agency, please complete the following:

1.      DHS Naloxone Registration: Designate one person from your agency to complete the DHS Naloxone Registration Form below.

DHS Naloxone Registration Form

2.      Naloxone Order Form: Once your registration has been processed and approved, your agency will be able to order naloxone through the DHS Naloxone Order form. You will receive this shipment of naloxone directly from the manufacturer, Emergent BioSolutions. Please save the order form link for all future orders of naloxone your agency may make.

This effort is made possible through federal funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, SAMHSA. Please note that to comply with federal funding requirements, we are asking all recipients to track units of naloxone administered, distributed and left behind. To learn more, please download our information leave behind document.

Thank you for all of your hard work in keeping our communities and citizens safe and healthy. If you have questions about this distribution or about the new laws and programs regarding naloxone administration and leave behind, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Department at [email protected]
