Organized by life domains. Clicking on a link takes you to a listing of resources for the related life domain with the results grouped by Public, Private, and Community resource type.
Search Resources
With three ways of finding information:
"Quick Search”
Enter a keyword or phrase. Then click "Search". This is a very simple search. Do not use quotes.
"Alphabetical Listing"
Click on a letter to see resources beginning with that letter.
"What & Where" search filters.
Select one or more filters to bring you to resource information by location, category, mental health topic, service type, language, or payment type. Then click "Search".
“Proximity Search” Either select a specific city in which to search for resources, or search for services within a radius of at least 5 up to 50 miles from a certain town or city.
After you have selected your search options, you can view your results in varying ways. Results can be listed alphabetically by name of resource or city, or grouped by resource type, such as public or private.
The search results page includes a link for displaying a formatted page for printing results.
Handouts & Articles
Organized by subsections, with links to articles, fact sheets, and overviews of various topics.
Newest Resources
Listing of resources added or updated within the past 30 days.

The Links page has a listing of behavioral health related sites. The Events page shows a month-by-month listing of trainings and other sessions that come to our attention. The What’s New page includes a link to provide feedback and to subscribe to MRN & MCares E-News. The About Us page explains how the NJ System of Care works. The Contact Us page includes the mailing address for MonmouthCares and a general purpose feedback form.
Other things Submit a Resource, Submit an Event, Printing Search Results
Links are strategically placed to allow users to submit a resource or event listing for consideration. The search results pages include a link for printing the results. Details about a resource are displayed when the "View" link is clicked to the left of the resource name on a search results page.
Cultural Resources
In addition to those in English, the site contains a variety of resources relevant to different world cultures and languages.
You can view numerous family handouts and articles in the Spanish language, spanning many disciplines such as depression and anxiety, the use of medication to treat mental illness, and information about the juvenile justice system.
The site can also be fully translated into different world languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Korean, and Russian through the Google translation service, which translates each subsequent web page or link chosen into your preferred language.
While searching for resources with the What & Where Search filters you can select varying cultural service types in addition to the specific language available through each resource.
