Thirty years after The Rugby School at Woodfield opened its doors to children with special needs, it has become one of the most highly regarded schools of its kind, providing the best educational and treatment approaches to students grades 1 through 12. To help special education students maximize their potential, Rugby provides a balanced, comprehensive program with years of experience.

Rugby offers a variety of remedial and academic programs including a one-to-one learning laboratory, behavior management, vocational testing, in-school simulated work experiences, vocational training in a college setting, cooperative industrial education, shepherding, driver's education, college prep, and fast start college credit for seniors.

Rugby affords a full range of professional therapeutic services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, nursing, and medical services. Counseling services are provided by certified psychiatric social workers, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists who utilize both individual and group counseling techniques along with specialized counseling (family, drug and alcohol, gender issues, anger management, and art therapy).
